Who Should Attend
This course is designed for risk managers, chief financial officers, chief executive officers, executive management, and operations professionals.

Highlights
Safety incentive programs can raise safety performance and bring money to your bottom line. But will they work for your company? Learn from staffing industry professionals what it takes to run a safety incentive program, why it is important, and what encourages staff to commit to excellence and safety in their work.

Join safety experts Sharon Pancamo, Carlos Rojas, and Wayne Salen as they define safety incentive programs, explain how to tailor those program to different types of employees, and share success stories. The panel will discuss programs for internal staff, clients, and contract employees.

This is the second in a series of Webinars that dive deep into the components of safety best practices—all which will be free to American Staffing Association members.

Presenters
Sharon Pancamo is an experienced national loss prevention and safety professional with diverse industry background building and developing innovative people-focused health, safety, and risk management programs with outstanding repeatable results. She is highly effective in identifying risk trends and developing solutions to eliminate, prevent, or reduce risks through loss control programs, education, and training. Pancamo is a general industry OSHA 10- and 30-hour authorized trainer with extensive background in core disaster life support (CDLS) and emergency response. She is a certified instructor for American Red Cross in FA, CPR, and AED.

Carlos Rojas is the director of risk management for Helpmates Staffing Services. He joined Helpmates in January 2012 after six years as a safety manager for a 1,500-employee global pharmaceutical manufacturer of drug delivery, IV therapy, pain control, clinical nutrition, dialysis, and vascular intervention. During his tenure in the pharmaceutical industry, he implemented an on-site wellness center providing acute and episodic care programs to ensure consistent availability of health care services for all employee health care management initiatives. Prior to the pharmaceutical industry, Rojas spent eight years as the field safety manager for a public staffing company, minimizing risk exposure at large manufacturing clients nationwide. His educational background includes a bachelor's in science in organizational leadership from Chapman University, and graduate studies in occupational health and safety at Southern Columbia University.

Wayne Salen currently serves as director of risk management for Labor Finders International Inc. in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. As a risk management veteran of more than 34 years, he has had responsibility of all the areas of risk management either directly or in oversight such as occupational safety, workers' compensation, medical clinic management, disaster planning, risk financing, claims administration, environmental health, property conservation, loss prevention, fleet management, regulatory compliance, benefits administration, and captive management, as well as other areas. Salen has three professional designations: the ARM (Associate in Risk Management), the CHCM (Certified Hazard Control Manager-master's level), and his CPSM (Certified Product Safety Manager-associate level). He also serves on the ASA Workers' Compensation Risk Certification (WRC) advisory council.
