ASA Continuing Education
ASA promotes legal, ethical, and professional practices for the staffing industry. Staffing firm owners, executives, managers, recruiters, and other employees committed to legal, ethical, and professional practices earn Certified Staffing Professional™ or Technical Services Certified™ credentials from ASA.
The more than 4,000 professionals permitted to bear the CSP™ or TSC™ marks of distinction have objectively demonstrated their understanding of state and federal employment laws as they relate to staffing company operations, as well as familiarity with the ASA Code of Ethics and Good Practices.
Staffing professionals who have earned the CSP and TSC certifications need to recertify every three years by earning 30 hours of continuing education, six of which must pertain to employment law. The 2012 ASA Staffing Law Conference provides all six of the employment law continuing education hours needed to maintain ASA certification, plus an additional 2.25 hours that can be used toward the general CE requirement. This conference provides a total of 8.25 CE hours.
