BLS Contingent Work Force Survey

The Bureau of Labor Statistics has collected data on contingent and alternative employment arrangements as supplements to its Current Population Survey since February 1995. The CPS is a monthly nationwide survey of about 60,000 households that obtains information on employment, unemployment, earnings, demographics, and other characteristics of the civilian noninstitutionalized population age 16 and over.
